For producers and the film industry, this comes as a relief. The Hollywood global industry grosses $136 billion dollars and is a pivotal industry for California.

While streaming services have been raking in the dough, movie theaters have also been shut down due to the virus. This goes hand-in-hand with the total shut down of the film industry.

For upcoming series such as Disney’s widely acclaimed “The Mandalorian” production can proceed into season 2.

The months of stay-in-place have been a production nightmare for those looking to continue work. For television viewers, their favorite show might see a delay but will proceed with filming.

Filming Despite COVID-19 Uptick

The state of California has made moves in order to reopen the state for small businesses and major industries a like. Unfortunately this comes at a time when COVID-19 reports have experienced an increase in cases.

In order for sets to continue production, the appropriate measures are a must. Groups no- more than 10 or fewer can gather, everyone must wear a face mask and other safety precautions must be put in place before a set can continue filming.
