A couple who purchased a Mercedes Benz has flown to Germany to “speak to the manager” of sorts.

The couple purchased their Mercedes Benz at a dealership under the assumption that they were buying one of the safest cars on the market. With 6,000 miles on the radar, the couple had gotten into an accident when their steering wheel apparently locked up causing them to slam into a concrete wall.

The couple then went to their dealership and had the information ready to inform them of the issue. The problem was apparently on the fault of the Mercedes. The dealership then made the necessary repairs on the car and gave it back to the couple.

This did not go over well. The couple weren’t happy with the exchange – prompting them to call for a new vehicle. This wasn’t met with the same enthusiasm as they had intended.

A lawsuit was filed for the company but has fallen on deaf ears as the couple waited for a response. As time passed, the couple grew angry.

Things got heated and it was decided that they would speak to the manager themselves. They then bought tickets, hoped a plane to Germany and went to HQ themselves.

Mercedes Denies Them

The couple was treated to a nice tour of the manufacturing process and then that was it. They were given the old “we’ll call you.”

Well now the couple still own the vehicle and it currently sits in their garage with little-to-no love. The couple in question does not appear to want to make this into a publicity stunt stating that their quest is for justice – for themselves and other drivers.

Apparently traveling to Germany doesn’t get you anywhere when it comes to complaining. In the grand scheme of things, perhaps they would have had better luck with a strongly worded letter?
