On the wild, wild, west, crazier things are happening than just spaghetti westerns. There are various readings of 15 to 30 degrees above normal. Furthermore, the conditions have been exceeding 100 degree climates for about 40 million people. Left and right, each of these Western U.S. cities have seen temperatures in the ball park of 110 degrees. Certainly, areas like California haven’t seen nothing yet. Simultaneously, the wildfires that have appeared do so around various states of heat wave hotspots. In Utah, particularly, there happen to be record-breaking temperatures.

Certainly, this isn’t the best news when with extreme heat comes extreme risk of fires spreading.

The Fall, needless to say, could continue to usher in by dangerously spicy temperatures. A National Weather Service office of Nevada has mentioned that “Dangerously hot conditions will continue through this weekend as an expansive ridge of high pressure sits over the region.”

Several other areas are seeing high-soaring temperature spikes. For instance, in Wyoming, 94 to 107 degrees was where it spiked. As it could be well understood, the highs are likely to show up towards the 80s or 90s through the Rocky Mountains. And yet, the heat could just as easily rejoin and be less of a mess throughout the Intermountain West and California. Triple-digit heat should be understood over yonder.

This heat wave is especially concerning for the Golden State.

Extreme temperatures are prominent, mere miles inland from the coast. Within the Central Valley, there happen to be 100-degree readings. That’s a scary factor, considering all the wildfires in California can be initiated with just a spark of energy. The fires are not something that people genuinely want to see but it’s likely to happen when traced to “heat dome.” There also tends to be hot temperatures and domes of heat that won’t be a great result overall. There are also clouds that divert and air that sinks.
