Detroit, MI – Jeep is looking to take on Ford for the throne of all-terrain vehicles.
For the past few months, all the hype for new 2020 vehicles mostly went to electric vehicles. While these cars and trucks are paving the way for the future of auto sales, Ford took a different approach. They decided to bring back one of their most iconic vehicles – The Bronco.
The Bronco is the hyped-out adventure vehicle for anyone looking to explore during COVID-19.
Lifestyle vehicles are currently in a hot spot right now. While many are cooped up in their homes, the thought of traveling in a vehicle big enough to camp with is on the mind. From van conversions to SUV purchases of outdoor adventures, Ford understands that this is what consumers are looking for and gave them a V8 SUV with everything thrown in.
Well, Jeep has decided to throw their hand in the ring with an all-new V8 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon 392. The four-door sports vehicle will include a 2-inch lift and a massive engine.
The problem for Ford is that they spent a lot of time building up their hype. This gave Jeep – an automotive company that specializes in the industry that Ford is looking to retake – the ability to quickly come up with something that would compete.
“Jeep is clearly listening to its customers. We are anxious to gauge their reaction to this new Wrangler Rubicon 392 Concept, a vehicle that delivers an incredible and unmatched level of fun-to-drive performance and capability, on- and off-road.”
The announcement comes amid hours before the Bronco launch. While it still has time to regain its hype, it is now down to a mere few hours. We are still excited for the launch and cannot wait to see what Ford is developing for off-road technology.
