If you lose your claim ticket, you risk delays in getting your car back. The confirmation process of ensuring you are the proper vehicle owner is much longer and more tedious without your ticket and can result in issues for you in the long run. Some services even add an extra fee for lost tickets, so be sure to avoid those as well!

Consider Tipping!

Drivers do get paid for their services, but they are still performing a service. Just like tipping servers in a restaurant is a common courtesy, tipping valet drivers is as well. Even if it is just a few dollars, a tip is always appreciated. Typically, a tip of around two to five dollars is the standard, but depending on where you are, it may differ. Tipping is most commonly done after picking up your car before leaving.
